Akamai Working Group

Akamai Working Group is an association of 28 small swine producers in Hawaiʻi County, dedicated to the perpetuation of the industry. Main thrusts include education, marketing, waste management and the family farm. Projects include mobile slaughter, locally produced feed and added value products utilizing local pork. Classes are also held to help new producers.
