Hawaii Master Food Preservers
The Hawaii Master Food Preservers is dedicated to the education and training of individuals in the discipline of food safety, food preservation science and the development of unique value-added products from locally grown and sourced produce. Our primary focus is the advancement of entrepreneurial skills and work force development. We are committed to increasing Hawaiʻi’s innovative value-added products through exports and create new income sources for greater sustainability in the community.
To enable members of the community throughout Hawaiʻi to safely develop, prepare, package and market value added products through education. HFMP and its partner and affiliate organizations will work with individual students to ensure their endeavors are successful and can make an impact on island sustainability.
