2021 - Hawaiʻi Island Community Food Summit

Aloha kākou, We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer! We wanted to extend a warm invitation to join the 4th Annual Hawaiʻi Island Community Food Summit hosted by the Hawai’i Island Food Alliance (HIFA) and County of Hawaiʻi, taking place virtually and in-person from July 29th – August 1st. As part of the summit, we hope you can also participate in the HIAP-led session below which will highlight recommendations generated from the system study completed earlier this year and how they are being progressed collectively with partners across the island.

  • Description: For those interested in making our food and agriculture system work better, join us for a discussion on how the Hawaiʻi Island Agriculture Partnership (HIAP) and its partners are addressing challenges within the island’s agri-food system by building a better understanding of its interdependent components and establishing new initiatives to work together for strengthening them.
