Cacao Nibs

Cacao nibs are crushed pieces of dried, fermented cacao beans that offer a crunchy texture and intense cocoa flavor. They’re often used in baking, confections, or as a healthy snack topping.

Cacao Nibs

To produce nibs, fermented and dried cacao beans are roasted and then cracked, separating the inner meat (nib) from the husk. The nibs have a rich, deep flavor profile—less sweet than chocolate but packed with antioxidants, minerals, and a satisfying crunch. Because they’re minimally processed, nibs retain much of cacao’s natural complexity.

Cacao nibs are valued by bakers, chocolatiers, and health-conscious consumers. In the market, they are sold in bulk for commercial use or packaged in smaller quantities for retail. They appear in protein bars, gourmet cookies, trail mixes, and specialty desserts, where consumers appreciate their robust flavor and nutritional punch.
