HIAP is structured to concentrate the leadership and decision-making at the team- and committee-level, rather than at the level of the board of directors. The Constellation Model of Collaborative Governance framework is used to support collaborative leadership and action-oriented collective impact of multi-organizational/sectoral partnerships. Committees are composed of representatives from each of the partnering organizations and industry/business sector. Committees of HIAP members provide a clear vision and strategic plan to guide the work of the collaboration.
